The Information and Communications Technology (ICT) group is within the School of Systems Engineering. Supported by the UK EPSRC and industrial partners, much of our research follows the following themes and is often of a cross-disciplinary nature:

Several awards have been received from the IEEE in the area of real time signal processing for wireless communications.

News:
20 May 2010: A journal paper has recently been selected to be awarded as one of three Highly Commended papers of International Journal of Systems Science, by Taylor & Francis. The paper is entitled Hong, X., Mitchell, R.J., Chen, S., Harris, C.J., Li, K. and Irwin, G.W. (2008), Model selection approaches for non-linear system identification: a review, International Journal of Systems Science, 39, 925-946 Many congratulations to the authors, especially Dr Xia Hong, Dr Richard Mitchell in Reading, for their outstanding achievement.
